You've probably noticed this colossal manse peeking over the stucco wall that shields it from Montauk Highway. And here's what going on behind those walls. For a while, the circa 1910 mansion, which is called Villa Maria, housed the lovely Sisters of St. Dominic. But that all changed back in 2005 when Nine West founder Vince Camuto gave the nuns $35 million for the 15-acre spread, and then put the entire property "through 'nearly six years of total renovation'." Even though Camuto apparently likes footwear, he's clearly against shoebox living—this place has a 22,000-square-foot main house, four outbuildings, and 11 bedrooms. And now the Post reports that the entire waterfront estate can be yours for the summer for only $1.5 million. Grey Gardens, eat your heart out!
