Is This Three-Bedroom In The Springs Priced Right?

New, 2 comments

Here now, From Curbed Marketplace, highlighting an intriguing real estate listing from the many thousands of properties found in the Curbed Marketplace. Browsing the Marketplace and spot a property worthy of being featured? Send it to the tipline.

After hitting the market in March of 2010 with an ask of close to $1M, this three-bedroom contemporary now has a much more realistic (dare we say..."reasonable"?) pricetag of $699K attached to it. Built in 1991 and updated in 2006, the 2300 sq. ft. home is set on a private 1.1 acre lot in the Springs section of East Hampton and features an extra large master suite, a high-ceiling living room, fireplace, hardwood floors, a pool (although non-gunite) and windows galore.

Other than some questionable decorating choices?that robin's egg kitchen being the worst offender?we like what we see. It's close to the East Hampton town marina, offers a ton of room for expansion and isn't priced like it's 2005. The taxes in The Springs are always on the high side, but renting this place out for the summer months could easily take care of them.

It's pretty obvious that we're a fan of this place, but we're interested in what Curbed readers have to think about it.
