Parking Restrictions

In a move that is sure to please both shoppers and merchants in East Hampton Village, the village board is currently holding a public hearing to discuss an amendment that would ease the two-hour time restriction on parking. The change in code would make it so that drivers wouldn't need those annoying tickets during the months of April and December. While we understand the need for the time limit in the summer months, we're overjoyed that the board is finally coming to their senses with respect to this issue. Still, the Reutershan and Schenck lots will remain in the running for worst parking in the Hamptons. [Patch]
