Signage Shrinkage

New, 5 comments

Now that the bamboo ban has been tabled, the East Hampton Village Board has time to pursue other pressing matters, like the size of real estate signs. Village officials are considering following Shelter Island's lead and shrinking them to a minuscule one and half sq. ft., less than a quarter of the seven sq. ft. that's currently allowed. While we doubt this will go anywhere?we can already hear the real estate agents complaining?the thought of a landscape uncluttered by ineffectual signs seems all sorts of appealing, especially after this election season.
