Another Thing To Blame On Irene

Until today, we thought we had heard the last of Irene's aftermath. It turns out that we can now add The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part I)'s soundtrack to the fallout. The "film's" composer, Carter Burwell, was in his Amagansett home when the storm hit and left him without power for four days. "I ended up writing the ending in this darkened, boarded up house," Mr. Burwell said, "but it worked out." His participation in this tween travesty is almost enough to make us forget that he's been working with the Coen Brothers for more than two decades. He gets a lifetime pass for The Big Lebowski, though. We just hope it doesn't happen again. [Sonic Scoop]
