A South Of The Highway Teardown For $2.495M

Kudos to this listing's agent, Dick Baker. This is the first time we've come across a home for sale that comes right out and says what many Curbed readers will undoubtedly think: "Current residence is likely a teardown." The 1500 sq. ft. residence's exterior isn't that bad, but the interiors are pretty hard on the eyes. The home might be salvageable, but we wouldn't blame anyone for breaking out the bulldozer and starting anew. The south of the highway property is a nice piece of land to build upon?the 1.39 acre parcel ("with generous building envelope") backs up to an almost 6-acre nature preserve.

The ask will most likely need to come down before finding a buyer, but it doesn't require too great an imagination to see the potential here.
