The Sherrill Farmhouse

Speaking before East Hampton's community preservation fund committee last week, Prudence Carabine made the case to purchase the Stephen Sherrill House located at the foot of Springs-Fireplace Road and North Main Street. Ms. Carabine has been actively involved with the creation of the farming museum nearby and sees this as an opportunity to create a "sister" site. "There is a lot of history [on North Main Street] that has just never been told or developed," she said. [EH Star]
