Since the proposed renovation and expansion of the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor has been given final approval, we wanted to ask what Curbed readers thought of the plans. The project's designer, Michael Scott of Newman Architects, wanted to make sure that the addition didn't overshadow the original building...was he successful? Considering the 7,725 square-foot addition will more than double the size of the library, we think so. It's impressive just how unobtrusive these mockups make it look.
