Ditch Plains Home Journeys to Become Million-Dollar Property

New, 1 comment

This four-bedroom Ditch Plains home is pretty solid proof that slow and steady wins the race. Especially if you're racing to break the $1 million threshold. The house, which was built in 2004 on a piece of land picked up for $310,000, just popped up on the market for $1.1 million. But that price didn't happen overnight: In 2004, the house sold for $799,000, and then again in 2006 for $975,000. Baby steps, people! So how come this house has been able to creep up in value? Probably because it's only two blocks from the ocean, and everyone loves Montauk.
