Walk Like an Egyptian

Continuing the trend established last week, yet another East Hampton village home has sold for its full asking price. This time, however, the culprit's a circa 1800 one-time dairy barn, which was originally part of the Fithian Farm homestead. Listed earlier this summer for $1.895 million, the property met its target within a couple of weeks, and had a contract by early August.
