The East Hampton Library has tried to win approval for a 6,802 extension since 2003—and its been mighty unsuccessful! In keeping with its track record, the East Hampton Village Zoning Board has issued yet another blow to the project in the form of "thick" findings reports. So how did the board's report proceed? It trash-talked the library, calling its paperwork "flawed and inconsistent," and told it to stop calling the extension a "children's wing." There will be room for adults too, eventually.
