For the first time in a long time, the "oldest cattle ranch in America"—known to most as the Deep Hollow Ranch—is available for purchase. The circa 1658 ranch, which some call the birthplace of the American cowboy, spans an impressive 22.3 acres of pristine Montauk land. The compound includes several working barns, a 5,000-square-foot antique timber framed farmhouse, and a 2-acre buildable lot. And the current owners will even stick around to help you operate the place!
Cattle and the like aside, the property also hosted several "Back at the Ranch" charity concerts during the '90s, which featured acts like Paul Simon and Billy Joel. Pretty darn cool! So how much to stake a claim in this utterly unique (pun intended) Montauk property? Unforuntately, the property is price upon request, so that answer's about as mysterious as the Lone Ranger himself. But several experiments indicate that the price lands at $13 million.
