Just when you think you've seen it all from the East Hampton Town Board, it goes and does something totally wacko! According to the EH Press, the Board has recently taken issue with the East Hampton Farmers Market, which sets up shop in Nick & Toni's parking lot. But why? Becuase the Board isn't sure if it "is legal for the market to be held on the restaurant's parking lot, even though it has been held there for the past four years and has been operating this summer." To add a layer of urgency to this totally contrived issue, one farmer adds: "I have all this perishable produce to sell Friday. You can't shut this thing down. It’s a vital part of my business."
