After years of discussion, the MTA has finally submitted a request for proposal to the village of Sag Harbor to purchase a 16,405-square-foot waterfront parcel. The MTA's decision, however, will not go down quietly: East End Vultures, the developers of the adjacent Ferry Road Condominiums (shown right), is knee-deep in a $30 million lawsuit over the property. (East End believes they gained ownership interest in the parcel after negotiations over the parcel stalled.) So who will ultimately win the land: the quaint village of Sag Harbor or the Vultures?
