The owners of Serafina in East Hampton would like to add a "lemon garden" to the rear of their new North Main Street restaurant. (We don't know what a "lemon garden" is either.) Unsurprisingly, construction for the new patio has left a sour taste in the mouths of several village officials. Some say the new patio will ultimately become outdoor seating, which ain't allowed—especially since parking is already at a premium. But even though that's probably true, it wouldn't be East Hampton unless you had trouble finding a spot. [EH Star]
