1960s Pondfront Retreat is Brown and Out

New, 1 comment

About 5,000 pounds of wood paneling, wood furniture, and wood finishes has come on the market in Water Mill north for $775k. The '60s were an interesting time for architecture—we get it—but we've never seen something like this before: The light fixtures, the floor tiles, the tissue boxes—it's all brown! Of course, the property's long driveway and scenic pond views will help market this place. But a can of white paint would really do wonders.
