Scouts Horror

After an idea to sell the docks in Montauk received backlash from fishermen, the debt-ridden Town of East Hampton has decided to instead sell the four-acre Fort Pond House, also in Montauk. The property, which was purchased by the Town in 2003 for $800K, serves as the part-time home of the Boy Scouts and as a park. With tension already mounting, this might turn into one hot auction.
