Zagat's new edition of its (truly) pocket-sized Hamptons Restaurant Guide 2010-11 hits the streets this week. It's an update to last year's full survey, including spots like the Blue Parrot that reopened under new management, but the newcomers aren't rated this time around.
So who is? Top food honors once again go to restaurants that aren't, strictly speaking, in the Hamptons. North Fork Table in Southhold scored a survey-best 28 for food, while Vine Street on Shelter Island nabbed a 27 mark. The Hamptons proper show in the rest of the top spots: Stone Creek in East Quogue, Mirko's in Water Mill, Plaza Café in Southampton and Dave's Grill in Montauk all scored a respectable 26. (For Yelp readers amongst us, the scores are on a scale of 30; see all Zagat Long Island ratings here.)
