As vice chairman of development firm Related Companies, David Wine's one of the fortunate few people savvy and successful enough to pull off the ultimate Hamptons overhaul. Luckily for us, he's done just that. And better yet, he's ready to sell it too! The oceanfront Bridgehampton property shown above, which originally came to Wine in 2006 with a structure more "shack" than "cottage" and a $6.75 million price tag, is currently listed with Dana Trotter and Bill Williams of Sotheby's for a cool $14.95 million.
Wine claims that the house's smaller scale renders it "more livable" than most Hamptons homes. While true, that oceanfront soaking tub (and the peeping Toms who come with it) definitely looses this house some practicality points.
