Let the restaurant games begin! After months of speculation, NYC hot spot Serafina has just announced that they're opening up an East Hampton outlet in the former Matto space on North Main Street. Shooting for a mid-May opening, the restaurant is planning to use fresh, East End-grown ingredients in their trademark Northern Italian cuisine. The grub: thin-crust pizzas, specialty pastas, and plenty of seafood and meats cooked on a wood burning grill. The vibe: Beachy, casual and family-friendly; featuring an 45-seat outdoor patio and vine-covered pergola under which you can sit and sip a sangria while you watch the animals on parade.
