No Smokes at Cooper's Beach?

Here's a little gem from Dan Rattiner we missed last week concerning a proposed smoking ban for certain outdoor spaces in Southampton: "Perhaps most importantly, there is to be no outdoor smoking along a particular section of Cooper's Beach... Smokers may not light up within 50 yards of that beach's concessions stand, building, deck, and handicapped accessible ramps. Interestingly, if this law is passed, people will be able to walk from the beach, past the pavilion and to their cars with clothing failing to cover between the top of the areola and the point midway between the hip and the knee, but, on this journey, will be banned from smoking."
