History Lessons

The historic Sunnymeade estate, which closed in late August for $13.150 million, has an interesting history. And thanks to the SH Village Review, we now know it! The property started as a small farmhouse, but eventually received the Estate Section treatment after a few additions in the 1900s. Thereafter, it even found itself home to a Carnegie. But our favorite anecdote? The estate's swimming pool, which was installed in 1964, "was one of the first in the village." [SH Village Review]
