$6M Chunk of Former Chevy Chase Estate Enters into Contract

A Lily Pond Lane parcel, which was at one point annexed to the estate Chevy Chase owned in East Hampton, has entered into contract. The parcel was originally purchased in 2004 for $6 million by the Terian family, which owns Rallye Motors, and then combined with Chevy Chase's old Lee Avenue estate. Early this year, the Terians decided to sell the entire compound for $35 million, with the Lily Pond parcel separately available for $8 million. After chopping the price down to $6 million, the property found a buyer. So what's it come with? Besides a convoluted tie to Chevy Chase, a 1940s Sheffer cottage, an acre of land, and an unbeatable address.
