The East Hampton Press reports that Stephen Tilly, a Westchester architect "who specializes in historic restorations" will take over operations of the $7.5 million restoration project of the Thomas Moran art studio in East Hampton. Tilly, who has executed restoration projects in Suffolk county before, will "carefully restore both building and site to evoke the vibrant East Hampton scene of the early 20th Century." Let's hope he's right, 'cause right now this sad home is anything but vibrant. [27East; previously]
