Baseball, fine art and Hamptons estates are three of Jeffrey Loria's favorite things. The Post is reporting that the Florida Marlins owner is the buyer-to-be-named-later in the Tory Burch purchase of the late Howard Gittis' estate on Southampton's Ox Pasture Road. Loria grabs the property's carriage house on 6 acres for $6 million, along with 7.4 acres of land for $16.5 million. While stingy zoning codes won't allow him to build a new ballpark on the land, Loria is considering a sculpture garden to house his art. Subdivision is also a possibility, but only if Loria needs extra cash to sign a big-name free agent for his Marlins.
