Sagaponack Loses Its Napoleon Complex, Takes Another Title

Already home to the Largest House in America, the village of Sagaponack now adds the title of Most Expensive Small Town in the U.S. to its resume, according to BusinessWeek. The tiny town has come a long way since its long-forgotten reputation as middle-America to Southampton and East Hampton's glittering coasts. A peek inside the numbers reveals Sagaponack's median sale price at $4.4 million, compared to $174,000 across the states. Yes, we're not in Kansas anymore.

Also representing the Hamptons in the survey: Water Mill (#6), Bridgehampton (#8), Wainscott (#13), Quogue (#30), East Hampton North (#42), and North Haven (#48).
