EaterWrap: September's Best, End of Summer Deals, More!

1) Hamptons Online offers some post Labor Day restaurant options to visit 'once the crowds are gone'. Among their fall favorites: Canal Café in Hampton Bays, the Dockside in Sag Harbor, and Duryea's Lobster Deck in Montauk. All three offer al fresco dining on those cool, September nights. 2) The final weekend of summer is upon us, and the Hamptons club scene doesn't plan to go out quietly. Thrillist's drinking deals for the weekend include Drink the Drift Dry, a Saturday night party to empty the bar at East Quogue's Drift. Elsewhere on the East End bar crawl: Dune offers up free champagne and Georgica plans to celebrate the Monday night crowd with 1/2 price drinks and giveaways. [Thrillist]
3) Farmers of the East End are bemoaning the late blight, which has destroyed local crops and put a strain on the local food supply. Quail Hill Farm in Amagansett has been hit particularly hard, losing 7,000 tomato plants. [SH Express]
