Good news: While earlier in the week it appeared the East End was headed for Round 2 of Offshore Hurricane Madness, it now seems Tropical Storm Danny is falling apart in the Atlantic. Rain is on the horizon, along with some big-ish waves and rip tides, but we're pretty much in the clear. Bad news: Surfers will surely lapse into some sort of post-hurricane depression, and beach goers still can't really go to the beach. Misery will ensue. Also, there is an 7% chance Danny will become a hurricane again and veer slightly west, directly into the Hamptons.
