Michael J. Conroy, a Long Island architect who designed many of Joe Farrell's most iconic Hamptons homes, has died at the age of 38. Relatives say his cause of death is undetermined at this time. Conroy's projects included homes for Kelly Ripa and Rudy Guiliani, as well as the 2009 Hampton Designer Showhouse and the Sandcastle, Farrell's $60 million Bridgehampton estate. [Newsday]
