Springs favorite Bostwick's is set to close sometime this fall after owners Kevin Boles and Chris Eggert decided not to renew their lease. The waterfront seafood restaurant has been a local staple for 15 years, but isn't closing up shop on bad terms. Boles and Eggert decided 'for a variety of reasons' not to continue renting the Three Mile Harbor location, opting to move the name Bostwick's to their other fish-focused restaurant, Cherrystones. (The partners own Indian Wells Tavern in Amagansett as well.) No word on future plans for the space, but the Harbor Marina owners plan to extensively renovate. Though Bostwick's usually stays open through Columbus Day, Boles said he was unsure of an official closing date for the Springs location.
