Good news: Hurricane Bill is heading for Canada, meaning the East End (and our Massachusetts counterparts) should be in the clear from any sort of natural disaster over the next few days. Bad news: The beaches will be taking quite the beating from Billy boy, who's set to create waves in excess of 15 feet. Apparently, extremely high tides and powerful swells will do most of the damage, assisted by the new moon last night which brought higher than normal water levels already. Rip currents are predicted to be incredibly strong as well, so we must ask you, dear Curbed Hamptons readers, to employ the look, don't touch rule to the Atlantic this weekend.
