Border Control

A 'border skirmish' has broken out between East Hampton Town and Sagaponack Village, over beach parking on Town Line Road. In short, Sagaponack residents are fed up with biased side of the road parking privileges. An 80 year old law states that East Hampton controls the east side of the street, where its residents are allowed to park as they wish, while Southampton Town controls the west side, which prohibits parking. Left in the dust, Sagaponack residents are asking East Hampton to show some compassion, and open up the sacred east side grounds to them as well. [EH Star]
