Though Zagat guides have long been no friend to the Hamptons, amends are being made on the company's blog, which offered up a list of the best dining deals on the East End yesterday. The usual deal-happy suspects like Matto, Rugosa and Townline BBQ appeared next to some lesser known eat-on-the-cheap options. New Sag Harbor Mediterranean Blue Sky was noted for its giant lobster paella for $24, while La Fondita's $10 specials nightly got a nod as well. Water Mill's Trata East, where fish is normally billed by the pound, gets a mention for its Sunday-Thursday $25 prix fixe, and the Blue Parrot, now known for some staggering new prices, is commended for its Dirty Bird Tuesday offerings. Martha would be proud.
