Hot off the presses: Stella McCartney is opening a pop-up shop for a long weekend. Plans for the designers first pop-up are in place for August 22-24 at the Fireplace Project, 'an auto garage-turned-gallery', in East Hampton. Word is the store will be offering fall pieces in addition to a sampling of resort 2010. Stella's brief weekend in the Hamptons should garner some epic lines next Saturday, so be prepared. A portion of the store's proceeds will benefit the Pollock-Krasner House, which is just across the street from the pop-up's weekend home. The Fireplace Project, a daring choice for the company, is not located on Main or Newtown, but rather in Springs, at 851 Springs Fireplace Road.
