EaterWrap: Tong's Garden Party, Georgica City-Bound, More!

1) Ed 'Jean-Luc' Kleefield's Madame Tong's is continuing its summer resurrection by taking over the Sunday Garden Party long held at the Southampton Inn. From 3-7pm on Sunday, the backyard lawn at the restaurant is transformed into an 'ultra-casual' gathering with free champagne for the first 100 guests. Small bites served at the bar, too. [Thrillist]

2) Georgica's Seth Levine is sending his culinary talents to the city, opening a fro-yo stand in SoHo, Pop Yogurt. Despite shuttling east to spend weekends cooking in the Hamptons, Levine revealed in an interview with Grub Street that he is looking to expand both of his projects. Levine's Georgica partners Robert Hesse and Matt Levine (no relation) are scouting locations for a city outpost of the new Wainscott restaurant. [GS]
3) Now serving dinner: The Koch Brothers daytime debauchery factory, Day & Night. The Southampton afternoon pool party is setting up shop in the evening, touting an experience 'unlike Saturday afternoon...an open-door affair, free of velvet ropes and V.I.P. lists'. Should you want to wander through that open door, expect to find mango-glazed halibut with red cabbage salsa and 'le burger royale' with truffle pomme frites on the menu. Never fear, 'fishbowl cocktails' for tables of diners to share will still be available. [EH Star]
