Fresh off the plane from LA, ANIMAL's Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo arrive in Montauk today for their week-long guest chef stint at the Solé East. Food & Wine's Best Chefs of 2009, Shook and Dotolo will be cooking at the Backyard Restaurant starting tonight (through next Tuesday), joining executive chef Larry Kolar to shake up the hotel restaurant's menu. Teasers: ANIMAL hits like 'melted petit basque cheese with chorizo and garlic bread, balsamic ribs with blistered corn and herb butter and bacon-chocolate crunch bars with salt-pepper custard sauce' are reportedly being offered up, along with some new ideas from the former stars of Two Dudes Catering. This weekend, the Shook and Dotolo host an ANIMAL BBQ for Solé's Sunday Cinema, with dinner served from $9.99. No doubt a deal of the century, just don't forget to bring your picnic blanket.
