In Listings Update: Swan Cove Officially on the Market

New, 2 comments

Swan Cove, the 1903 East Hampton estate own by Ziegfeld Follie Mary Howard de Liagre until her death last month, is now officially on the market for $22.5 million. The home's storied Hollywood past adds some dramatic flair to an otherwise run-of-the-mill 3,500 square foot pink house. Judging from the just released listing photos, Mrs. de Liagre was a surely lovely lady with a penchant for old TV sets and glass swan sculptures, but one has to wonder if those are the best accessories to feature when selling a house for that many millions. Part of the Frank B. Wiborg estate, Swan Cove isn't short on Hamptons history, but its pink, Grey Garden-esque shed looks like it could use a Kennedy makeover.
