Cindy Adams' batty Page Six column took on Hamptons traffic this weekend, likening the experience to an 'East Coast tribal rite'. Gawker notes that Adams' typically eccentric writing is venturing towards crazy with this one, as the gossip columnist's dissection of 'humanoid' driving tendencies seems to go off the deep end. Quoth one of Adams' 'Yentas': '...He knows back roads. Takes a little longer and he sometimes gets a bit lost like when Lily Pond Lane crosses Three Pond Stream and cuts across Fertilizer Farm to Daffodil Pollen Path, he sometimes misses the turnoff. But there's no traffic there.' [Gawker via NYP]
