Shinnecock Hills artist Hope Sandrow is interviewed by the Times this week to talk about her love for all things chicken. Yes, chicken. Sandrow has made an art form and a business out of her backyard fowl, setting up live web-cams on her coop and having her photographs of said chickens put up in museums around the country. Curators at the Met and the Whitney receive 'semi-regular' deliveries of eggs from Sandrow herself, who records her trips on the Jitney on tape as a part of her food-chain based art installation.
