East Hampton Acquiring Less Land

This oddly terrifying graph shows, at far right, the total revenues collected thus far in 2009 by East Hampton's Community Preservation Fund. Hint: it's a very small number. Result: massively scaled back land acquisition by the town, which uses monies from the fund to preserve open space, preserve barns, and otherwise do do-goodery things of that sort.
