EaterHampton: Hamptons Honey Leaves Hive for 42nd Street

Water Mill, the apparent honey capital of the Hamptons, is now exporting its sweet offerings all the way to 42nd Street. Hamptons Honey, which is owned by Alan Ceppos and Frédéric Rambaud, proprietors of those acid-trip inducing Pylones shops, bought the company (and its Water Mill apiaries) four years ago in hopes of opening a honey store in the Big Apple. And with dream that came 'The Tea and Honey Store, a polished pine shop with sky-blue walls in Grand Central Terminal'. Banking on the fact that where there's honey, there's tea, Ceppos and Rambaud also stock a worldly selection of teas, teapots and strainers for all of your honey needs.
