It Happened One Weekend: Boas, Books and Blues

[Scenes from the Montauk Yacht Club; Don't worry, Shinnecocks - No real money at this casino]
1) The Montauk Yacht Club topped off its 80th Anniversary Celebration with a Roaring '20s bash on the water. Despite the pouring rain on Saturday night, guests tried their hand at some 'gambling', and enjoyed the feather boas and funny hats (see above) provided for all, proving that props always make the party. 2) New Restaurant & Lounge Georgica celebrated the release of Mercury in Retrograde, the first book from Page Six's Paula Froelich. The Friday night fête saw an appearance from chefs Robert Hesse and Seth Levine, the kitchen proprietors of this Wainscott space, and former minions of Gordon Ramsay and his televised masterpiece, Hell's Kitchen. 3) The '90s were ressurected this weekend with Blues Traveler's return to the East End at the Westhampton PAC. The sold out show reminded thousands of thirtysomethings of days gone by. [Twitter/LoveLongIsland]
