New local magazine The New York Hamptonite has some harsh words for competitor Social Life, accusing the more established periodical of taking its inaugural issue from newstands in Southampton. According to Team Hamptonite, new issues of Social Life mysteriously replaced the missing piles around town, and an editor claims he later found them in a garbage bin on Jobs Lane "covered in ketchup". Social Life's publisher and EIC wholeheartedly deny that they had any involvement in this, and wish Hamptonite "lots of success this summer". Consider this case open until issue two rolls out.
