Newsday's excellent Real LI blog hypes the idea that high-end Hamptons rentals (got $750,000 handy?) are suddenly hot; says one Prudential Douglas Elliman broker, "All of a sudden it's gotten fierce." Oh, of course it has. Anyhoo, the blog points to two rentals up for grabs with previous celebrity heritage: a Southampton abode previously rented by Jack Nicholson renting for the summer for $400,000 (above), and a Wainscott house habitated by the Lohans, asking $350,000.
