A few salacious details have been added to the listing of divorcé Elie Hirschfeld's $25 million East Hampton estate. Daily Intel notes that Hirschfeld's recent personal drama may have prompted the developer to put his Lily Pond Lane oceanfront home on the market last month.
The blog reminds us that his now ex-wife Susan reportedly
"accused him of 'feigning diarrhea' in order to ditch out of a family vacation, fly[ing] a private jet home, and empty[ing] his marital apartment of furniture china, silver, furs, jewelry, and some $30 million in artwork shortly before their divorce last year..."Well then. The East Hampton home is seemingly pretty, with an old world Hamptons design, save for some questionable pillow placements on the living room ottoman. Details aside, the house is a major offseason listing for the East End that will surely garner attention for however many months it sits on the market. Sure, it has scandal, but it's no Madoff Manor after all.
