Going to the Dogs

East Hampton's brewing battle royale over extended restrictions for dogs on the beach is getting its fair share of attention from animal lovers. The Press reports that the village has received 'more than 60 emails' opposing increased hours during which dogs would be banned from our shores. Though the village maintains that these discussions are nothing more than musings by local officials at this point, the mere thought of the changes has prompted an outcry. Let the tightening of the leash (!) begin. [EH Press]
