Main Street Gets Reprieve as Hermès Says See You Next Year

New signage in the window of summer '09 pop-up Hermès leads one to believe that the leather goods shop will be back in East Hampton come spring. One less vacancy on Main Street confirmed! The marquee brick building at number 63 had previously advertised a For Rent sign, but now appears to be reclaimed by the orange glow of the French luxury brand. If you missed your chance at a $530 zebra beach towel last summer, fear not, they shall return.

N.B. Nearby swimsuit purveyor Malia Mills has also closed up for the season, but vows to be back when the warm weather returns. In the meantime, bikinis can be found at the brand's Southampton shop.
