The Weekend It Snowed...and Snowed...and Snowed

1) Two feet of snow blanketed the East End this weekend, with the Hamptons taking the brunt of the northeast storm and its blizzard-like conditions. While schools are closed and residents have been told to stay off the roads, perhaps the most incredible story comes via a Times article on the weather.

"A Hampton Jitney left New York City at 9:30 p.m. Saturday with fewer than a dozen passengers and got to Southampton at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, a nine-hour adventure in the storm."Think of that on your next four hour Fourth of July journey east. Catch the rest of the SnowWire here, here and here. [NYT] 2) Lest we forget, amid Saturday night's snowstorm Jonas Brother Kevin got married at Long Island's Oheka Castle, the same castle rumored to be hiding Tiger Woods last week. What a news cycle.
