Pollock's View Saved

The Star reports that the Pollock-Krasner House can breathe easy, as private donors have helped raise enough money for the town to purchase land behind the Springs museum. The children of the property's owner, the late Dr. Harry Potter, had wanted to develop the parcel to sell it, but were bought out by the town in hopes that the artists' famously untouched view could be preserved. About half of the $1.2 million purchase price came from donors, including the museum's summer pop-up neighbor, Stella McCartney. [EH Star; previously]
