Record Setting Modern Sold to Awesome Car-Racing Neurosurgeon

Corcoran agents Peter and Lois Moore passed along news about this recently sold East Hampton modern as an 'under $5 million nomination' for our Most Important Deals of the Decade debate. Let's hear one for the little guys. The Jess Reeves and Robert Lewis designed space is a striking modern that went for $3.25 million - a price record for the neighborhood. (The house also rather shockingly sits on only 1/3 of an acre.) On the 'village fringe', the home offered 4 bedrooms and 5.5 baths in just over 4,600 square feet. The buyer had a unique resume as well. The Moores revealed that the house now belongs to the President of the American Heart Association, a prominant neurosurgeon who races Ferraris. We bet he has a story or two.
